From August 2007, virtually all GP trainees in the UK  will be doing the new MRCGP examination. Every GPST will need to register with the RCGP to get a login code for their e-portfolio. It is imperative that you get this done early so that you can start inputting data on your e-portfolio, and can undertake your workplace-based assessments at the appropriate times. This will cost you, and you will also need to decide whether you want to become an ‘Associate-in-Training’ or just register with the college.
